FIELD: pipe line fittings. SUBSTANCE: body has bypass passage and two sealing seats between which plate is arranged for motion effected by means of actuating rod and pipe connector connected with it; pipe connector consists of two sealing rings connected by means of compensator. Sealing rings are mounted for flexible displacement towards seats when gate valve is in open position. Compensator is made in form of corrugated pipe section with peripheral recess. Axially mounted in corrugated section is inner tube section rigidly connected with one ring and mounted for axial displacement relative to other ring. Pressure in body above plate exceeds that in bypass passage when gate valve is in open position. EFFECT: enhanced reliability. 9 cl, 4 dwg
