FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: disk has passage through which cooling agent flows. Both sides of gate valve disk are coated with heat-insulating material. Part of disk bounded by seal is formed by means of pipe bent in form of double spiral in plane of disk forming cooling passage. According to alternating version, disk of base has groove in form of double spiral partially closed by cover disk connected with disk of base by means of explosive technology. Part of disk of gate valve bounded by seal is formed by means of load-bearing disk; metal sheet secured to at least one side of load-bearing disk dorms cooling passage in shape of double spiral. Part of disk of gate valve bounded by seal is formed by means of central disk provided with holes passing in plane of disk; these holes are brought in hydraulic communication forming cooling passage.
