FIELD: catalytic cracking. SUBSTANCE: desorber is made in the form of a yoke placed coaxially about a barrel of a straight- through reactor and is provided with cascade contact cones. Conical distributor with overflow windows is installed between inertia separator and cascade of cones. Baffles in the form of shelves provided with sheets on their periphery are installed on the upper edge of the distributor. Catalyst outlet pipe branch is set in the lower part of the desorber. Steam collector is installed above the catalyst outlet pipe branch. Distance "l" between the outlet and collector is equal to l (1 5)D, where D is diameter of cylindrical part of desorber shell.
