FIELD: foundry engineering. SUBSTANCE: method of continuous evacuation of metal in the process of continuous casting includes delivery of liquid metal from a casting ladle into a vacuum chamber where rarefaction is created. Metal is delivered into intermediate ladle under level through a connecting pipe and further into crystallizers through lengthened casting vessels under level. Ingots are drawn out of crystallizers and lengthened casting vessels are poured in when the intermediate ladle is lifted. Intermediate ladle is lifted while lengthened casting vessels are changed. Level of metal in a ladle is decreased to the same height. Depth of connecting pipe immersion under the metal level remains unchanged. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency.
