FIELD: metallurgy. SUBSTANCE: method for metal continuous degassing in continuous casting consists in supply of metal from pouring ladle to vacuum chamber, creating residual pressure in vacuum chamber to subject metal to vacuum treatment, supplying metal to intermediate ladle through separate branch pipe, and further on to molds from which ingots are withdrawn. At the end of emptying of pouring ladle, level of metal in intermediate ladle is lowered through value equalling 0.6-0.9 of depth of branch pipe immersion to under metal level in intermediate ladle.
