FIELD: metallurgy, in particular, in-line metal degassing in continuous casting. SUBSTANCE: method includes supply of metal from casting ladle to vacuum chamber, creation in vacuum chamber of residual pressure; supply of metal from vacuum chamber through branch nozzle to tundish, to under metal level; supply of metal from tundish to molds through impermissible nozzle to under metal level and pulling of ingots from molds. When pressure in vacuum chamber rises, metal supply to vacuum chamber is discontinued, ingot pulling rate is increased by 1.1-1.6 times relative to working value, and tundish is raised to 0.1-0.9 of depth of immersion of immersion nozzles to under metal level in molds. EFFECT: higher stability and productivity of metal continuous casting. 1 tbl
