FIELD: air heating. SUBSTANCE: rotor is cylindrical, hollow and dummy and mounted in the space of the separating seal of a regenerative air heater horizontally with a spaced relation equal to 0.2-0.5 of the area of the cross-section of the housing between the rotor and wall of the housing. The horizontal rotation axis can be both positioned in the vertical plane of the separating seal and shifted in the direction of air section-gas-duct by 0.15 of the diameter of the rotor.
