FIELD: mining industry. SUBSTANCE: method for preparation and mining of gently sloping and sloping fire-hazardous coal seams includes sinking of main and auxiliary inclined shafts, development workings and mining of mining field extracted area by long pillars along the strike with roof rock caving. Mining extracted area in height is worked by upper district within the zone of high air permeability of covering rocks and by lower district beyond the boundary of indicated zone. Main and auxiliary inclined shafts are sunk on one flank, and mounting slope is made on the opposite flank and additional shaft which is located on the boundary of districts. Pillars are extracted in direction from upper and lower boundaries of mining extracted area to the boundary between districts. Surface of upper district is partially filled additionally.
