FIELD: organic compounds. SUBSTANCE: the process comprises preparing monodispersive latex with "nucleus envelope" type particles by emulsion polymerization of styrene in an aqueous medium in the presence of a radical initiator and a disperser on heating, subsequently adding isoprene to the resulting polystyrene latex at an isoprene to polystyrene of 0.1 to 0.5:1, maintaining the reaction system and subsequently carrying out polymerization of isoprene in the presence of 2.4-4.8 wt parts per 100 wt parts of polystyrene of an oxidative-reducing initiating system and subsequently modifying the resulting latex with an aqueous solution of a sulfur-containing aminoacid at 30-60 C at a polymer to amino acid weight ratio of 1:0.05-0.15 and at pH of 10-11. EFFECT: more efficient preparation process.
