FIELD: non-ferrous metallurgy, production of aluminum by electrolysis, namely apparatus for supplying electric current to high-power cells and arranged across cell housing.
SUBSTANCE: apparatus is designed for supplying electric current to high-power cells operating at current intensity 250 - 320 kA. Busbar includes five anode struts, cathode buses at inlet and outlet sides of cell. Cathode outlets and bus kits are welded to cathode buses under bottom and along end sides of cathode casing. Collecting bus is connected with cathode buses of inlet side, with cathode buses of outlet side and with anode struts and it is arranged under bottom of cathode casing along cell.
EFFECT: lowered mass of busbar.
