FIELD: electrolytic winning of aluminum, updating of bus arrangements of electrolyzers with their lateral placement in bodies. SUBSTANCE: bus arrangement in compliance with invention has anode uprights located on input side of electrolyzer. Collecting buses with cathode bars connected to them pass along faces and under bottom of electrolyzer, are connected to anode uprights of electrolyzer next in path of current. Extreme collecting buses of cathode bus arrangement of output side are connected to buses of reverse direction of current connected to buses arranged on face sides. 5-15% of current of output side is tapped from each package with reverse direction of current. Connection points of packages with reverse direction of current to packages of buses of face sides are located between longitudinal axis of electrolyzer and its output side. EFFECT: raised current efficiency, reduced energy consumption thanks to diminished harmful effect of magnetic fields on molten aluminum. 1 cl, 1 dwg, 1 tbl
