FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves thermostating micro quantities of blood on a slide in humid chamber at 37 C to obtain erythrocytes sedimented on glass. Phagocytosis object suspension is distributed over the upper layer of plasma containing phagocytes. Reaction mixture is stirred before preparing smear after repeated thermostating in the humid chamber. The smear is prepared on the same slide where blood and phagocytosis objects interaction took place. After applying Romanovsky dying method, the phagocytosis objects containing in the phagocytes are determined. EFFECT: enhanced effectiveness in detecting phagocytosis specificity and immune deficiency states in men and women. 5 tbl
