LINE TRANSFORMER Russian patent published in 1996 - IPC

Abstract RU 2054721 C1

FIELD: television. SUBSTANCE: line transformer has ferromagnetic core which carries frame fitted with connection panel with contacts on to which at least one low-voltage winding is applied. Sectionalized high-voltage winding which sections are put on separate cylindrical frames and insulated by mica tape applied on to each section is positioned over low-voltage winding. Tape is laid in one layer with overlapping in radial directions along generating lines of outer and inner surfaces of frame. It is put in similar manner over all sections taken together positioned in axial direction. Above tape insulation covering sections there is placed connection plate with diodes through which winding sections are connected in series. Frame with primary winding, frames with sections are connected in series. Frame with primary winding, frames with sections of high-voltage winding and connection plate are integrated as a unit with the use of impregnating compound which simultaneously enhances electric strength of mica tape. Invention provides for insertion of frame with variable resistors into transformer which is anchored on connection plate of transformer by means of compound which ensures insulation of diodes, variable resistors and output leads. Usage of elastic compound for this purpose makes it possible to replace these elements in case of failure. Mechanical and electric strengths of leads are achieved by fabrication of output leads of sections of high-voltage winding folded several times along length and wrapped in mica tape. Manufacture of ferromagnetic core from amorphous material makes it possible to decrease number of turns and consequently to diminish dimensions of transformer, to enhance adaptability to manufacture and save copper. EFFECT: increased electric strength, diminished dimensions and adaptability to manufacture. 5 cl, 5 dwg
