FIELD: ophthalmosurgery. SUBSTANCE: iris of the eye is caught with thread on eye suture surgeon's circle needle through every 90 deg at angle of 45 deg relative to limbus. The thread is sutured at distance of 1 mm from the pupil edge and brought out with the same needle as near as possible to the point of introduction and tensioned. In cases of aphakia and artiphakia suturing is effected from the inside to the outside; and with crystalline lens preserved, the iris of the eye is sutured over outside with nonthrough suture.
