FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves creating double-step scleral tunnel of 4.5 mm in length. Before implanting intraocular eye lens, blanket suture is applied around optical cylinder. The intraocular eye lens is introduced via the scleral tunnel into the anterior chamber. Posterior haptic element is introduced over the pupil behind iris. The frontal portion of the intraocular eye lens is arranged in the pupil area and on the iris. Needle and thread are brought through the scleral tunnel. A pierce into iris is done from outside. A pierce towards outside is done through the paracentesis of the cornea and limb. The thread is brought outside by means of hook as a loop through which free end of the thread is conducted and a knot is tightened. Tightening suture is applied to pupil edge by introduced the needle through cornea and pupil edge of the iris catching external and internal pupil edge and pulling out the thread into the scleral tunnel as a loop. Two basal iridectomies are done. EFFECT: enhanced effectiveness in arranging intraocular eye lens in stable central position without capsular support being used.
