SUBSTANCE: method of determination of moment of inertia of articles consists in successive excitation of continuous oscillations of equal frequency of a platform and platform with article by means of electromechanical system, in change of rigidity of electromechanical system till equality of frequencies of self-excited oscillations of platform with article is achieved, rigidities corresponding to oscillations of equal frequency of platform and platform with article are determined and moment of inertial of article is computed by formula.
