FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: resonance method of measurement of moment of inertia of articles of type of bodies of revolution consists in usage of electromechanical system incorporating electric motor as generator of mechanical oscillations. Frequency of oscillations of electromechanical system without article is adjusted with fixed rigidly of electric motor until onset of resonance and frequency of inherent undamped oscillations is fixed. Then rigidity of electric motor with anchored article is adjusted with fixed frequency of electromechanical system until onset of resonance. Value of rigidity corresponding to resonance mode is measured and moment of inertia is calculated by formula. EFFECT: improved authenticity of resonance method. 2 cl, 1 dwg
