DROPPED SAMPLER Russian patent published in 1996 - IPC

FIELD: ecological surveys of sea and river bottom sedimentations. SUBSTANCE: in extension piece of dropped sampler there are made two spaces communicating with outside. One of them is connected with the aid of valve to outer medium and is fitted with grid filter. Filter is located in side part of extension piece for additional communication with outer medium. The other space is manufactured in the form curvilinear channel narrowing towards nose part of extension piece. Wide part of it is coupled to space under piston and its narrow part communicates with second space by means of specified valve. Nose part of extension piece has protrusion located on side of curvilinear channel. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of dropped sampler. 3 dwg
