TELESCOPIC SAMPLER OF LIQUIDS Russian patent published in 1998 - IPC

FIELD: ecological examinations of water basins, sampling of liquids from industrial reservoirs, catch pits, boreholes. SUBSTANCE: telescopic sampler of liquids has rope, at least two tubular telescopic sections placed concentrically, outer one being closed on upper end, mechanism securing sampler in collapsed position, shut-off valve and ducts for passage of liquid. Sampler has case coupled to mechanism securing sampler manufactured in the form of sleeve open from above with two through holes in bottom as minimum and axial rod with conical expansion on upper end fixed in bottom. Rod is located in internal space of sections placed concentrically. Outer section has section of internal surface conically narrowing at lower end. Valve is installed in upper closed part of outer section and is secured in open position, its shutting member is coupled to rope. Inner section is positioned freely and has section of external surface conically expanding on upper end and section of internal surface conically narrowing on lower end. Conically expanding and narrowing sections of surface of adjacent members of sampler placed one in another are matched to form conical seal. EFFECT: improved operational reliability of sampler. 2 dwg
