FIELD: sampling of liquid while conducting ecological studies determining composition of water and percentage of polluting substances in it in natural and man-made reservoirs. SUBSTANCE: device taking sample of liquid has one vessel as minimum anchored on rope and having inlet hole and sampling unit including body with weight. Body is fitted in lower part with extension piece arranged uniaxially and having at least one radial groove where cylindrical pin with inlet axial dead conduit and through radial hole is made fast. Bushing mounted for turn relative to pin and having through radial hole is positioned on pin coaxially. Inlet hole of vessel is matched with through radial hole of bushing. Vessel is fastened to bushing with the aid of adapting ring embracing inlet hole of vessel and installed in through radial hole of bushing. Lower part of extension piece is fitted with axial pin.
