SUBSTANCE: in compliance with invention there are determined specific activity of soil by depth, distance from soil surface to points corresponding to maximal and minimal activity of soil is measured along vertical, density of soil is found in these layers in soils contaminated by one-time salvo ejection of radioactive substance and rate of convective transfer is determined by numerical solution of proposed equation with allowance for parameters found in advance and for time passed from moment of one-time salvo ejection of radioactive substance.
