FIELD: environment control. SUBSTANCE: constant of speed of radionuclide content variation in soil is determined with the use of data of full-scale observations of soil contaminated by radioactive substance outburst. To this end, average specific activity and thickness of soil layer are measured, radionuclide distribution coefficient, convective transfer rate, diffusion coefficient and integral characteristics of vertical profiles are determined. Constant of speed of radionuclide content variation in soil is determined by mathematic dependence with due regard for predetermined parameters and time passed from moment of outburst of radioactive substance on soil.
