FIELD: materials separation. SUBSTANCE: apparatus has conical body with tangential inlet branch pipe, discharge and sand branch pipes. Upper part of body has diaphragm with holes, made in the form of slit-type grooves with bent up tongues directed by 5 mm downward to meet stream. Tongues are cutting out only upper part of water stream, that almost does not have solid particles, that allows to increase effectiveness of liquid and solid phases separation independently from inlet parameters. EFFECT: increased effectiveness of industrial waste waters liquid and solid phases separation.
