FIELD: cleaning and clarification of liquids on purification works of industrial enterprise circulating water systems. SUBSTANCE: hydraulic cyclone includes housing consisting of cylindrical and taper portions with water supply device connected with cylindrical portion, purified water discharge branch pipe running through cover in upper portion and sediment discharge branch pipe which is end-piece of taper portion. Taper portion of hydraulic cyclone consists of three coaxially connected cones at angles of 5, 10 and 15 deg; water supply device is made in the form of inlet spiral bell mouth received by supply slit; fitted inside outlet branch pipe provided with taper diaphragm in the form of truncated cone at inlet is inertial spring filter rigidly connected with bush of outlet branch pipe at one end provided with blades at other end; it is freely suspended inside purified water discharge branch pipe. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of separation of solid phase and increased capacity of plant; reduced degree of wear of device. 1 dwg
