BRIDGE DEFORMATION JUNCTION Russian patent published in 1996 - IPC

Abstract RU 2057837 C1

FIELD: bridge building. SUBSTANCE: bridge deformation junction has coaxial cantilevers hinged to H-beams through tubular cylindrical hinges. The cantilevers are interconnected by hinges to form three-hinge structure. Extended strips are laid upon the cantilevers. The strips are parallel to H-beams and have a gap with width equal to junction width. The strips are bolted to the cantilevers. Compensators are installed in the gaps between floor strips. EFFECT: decreased stresses in members of deformation junction and adjacent span constructions due to temperature and temporal impacts, enhanced reliability and increased durability. 4 dwg
