The volume of the supplying passageway from the stop surface of the check valve to the lowest hydrostatic level of oil in the passageway, when the engine is not in operation and engine valve is open completely, at least, equal to the volume of the oil that leaves hydraulic compensator in moving plunger by completely open engine valve.
