FIELD: domestic microwave ovens for food preparation. SUBSTANCE: microwave oven has microwave oscillator, resonator chamber, transmission line whose input is connected to oscillator output, and radiator of circular polarization of means for counterclockwise or clockwise rotation of polarization vector mounted in one of resonator corners so that its electric axis coincides with resonator diagonal between corner where radiator is mounted and opposite corner. EFFECT: provision for isolation of resonator from oscillator due to orthogonal polarization of oscillation exciting resonator and those reflected from it; multimode excitation of resonator due to radiation from its corner which equalizes resonator field. 2 dwg
