FIELD: microwave heating engineering. SUBSTANCE: conveyer-type microwave oven is available in two versions. It has at least one microwave oscillator, one heating chamber 3, one belt conveyer 5, and two sluices 4 installed at entrance and exit of conveyer belt. Inner surface of dielectric pipe 6 fixed in body of sluice 4 has slots separated from each other by partitions 7; depth of slots is a multiple of quarter wavelength and their width is smaller than wavelength. Dielectric pipe 6 mounts spiral-shaped dielectric pipe 8 whose diameter is much smaller than wavelength. Dielectric pipe 6 is rectangular in cross-sectional area, its height being greater than wavelength and width equals several wavelengths. Conveyer-type microwave oven of first version has reflecting shutters 9 installed in the vicinity of dielectric pipe 6 for turning about its axis through distance multiple of half wavelength from each other. Microwave oven of second version has at least two reflecting shutters 9 and two absorbing shutters 11; distance between reflecting shutters and heating chamber 3 is a multiple of odd number of quarter wavelengths; bodies of sluice 4 are stepped structures; inner surface of sections smaller in cross-sectional area is smooth and coated with radio-absorbing material.
