FIELD: ferroalloy metallurgy. SUBSTANCE: process refers to preparation of oxide molybdenum concentrate for smelting of ferroalloy based on molybdenum. It includes calcination of sulphide molybdenum stock in fluidized bed furnace followed by calcination of dust trapped by gas cleaning of fluidized bed furnace in multihearth furnace. Rate of air flow at stage of desulphurization during calcination in multihearth furnace amounts to 125-150 m/h per ton of dust up to achievement of mass proportion of sulphate sulphur to sulphide sulphur equal to 1:(2.0-2.2). At stage of desulphurization rate of air flow is reduced to 75- 90 m/h per ton of dust. EFFECT: reduced content of sulphur in calcinated concentrate, up to 0.05%. 1 tbl
