FIELD: analytical chemistry. SUBSTANCE: sample is prepared by touching with object tested of surface of thermoresistant substrate. Then the sample is placed into graphite furnace of electrothermal atomizer of atom-absorption spectrometer. Then atomizer is heated till achieving temperature of elements tested, and values of atomic absorption are measured at analytical lines of elements determined. Concentrations of elements of the sample is measured due to calculating relations of concentrations of the basic component of the sample to other elements of the sample. Values achieved are compared with values of analogical relations of components of identification tables. Brand name of an alloy is judged from the coincidence of these values.
