FIELD: electrical engineering; fiber-optic communication lines. SUBSTANCE: optical communication cable has central reinforcing dielectric member, lay of optical fibers in insulating tubes, inner and outer insulating coats, inner and outer metal sheaths with insulated conductors inbetween. Conducting contact members are inserted between two adjacent insulated conductors and equally spaced from them; dielectric members are fitted between conducting contact member and each insulated conductor, number of insulating members being n, where n = 1, 2, 3, ... . EFFECT: reduced input of conducting material and improved protection of optical cable against external electromagnetic fields. 1 dwg
