FIELD: ferrous metallurgy, particular, low-carbon steel applicable in production of structural sheets for stamping. SUBSTANCE: steel additionally contains calcium with the following amounts of components, mas.%: carbon 0.08-0.12; silicon 0.80-1.50; manganese 0.55-0.90; copper 0.05-0.50; calcium 0.0005-0.0015; the balance, iron; in this case, silicon-to-carbon ratio amounts to 1-1.25. EFFECT: reduced sensibility of steel to oxygen and as a result higher corrosion resistance with preserved ductility characteristics. 3 tbl
