FIELD: testing equipment. SUBSTANCE: chamber to test article for action of salt fog is provided with compartment 2 connected to discharge pipe-line 3, air duct 4, pipe-line to feed salt solution 5 and working space of chamber with the aid of diffraction grating 6 where tested article 7 is placed. Compartment 2 houses aerosol apparatus 8 with built-in regulator 9 of fog dispersity. Reflector 10 of salt fog is placed diametrically opposite close to opposite wall of compartment 2. Heaters 12 are positioned in walls of chamber 1 along entire perimeter. One wall of chamber 1 is manufactured in the form of roof with angle 120 deg at vertex of it. Temperature sensor 13 is put on one of walls of working space of chamber 1. Heat insulation 14 is laid over entire space of chamber 1. EFFECT: prevention of precipitation of condensate on to wall and in working space due to guaranteed formation of salt of specified dispersity in process of test and running of condensate down its walls into discharge pipe-line when pressure in chamber is lost. 2 cl, 1 dwg
