FIELD: food industry, biochemistry. SUBSTANCE: method involves the use of deep-sea, herring and other fish species gonades. Raw is milled, extracted with mixture of chloroform and 96% ethanol at ratio raw, chloroform and ethanol = 1: 2: 2 at 18-20 C at intensive stirring. Extract is washed with triple volume of 0.1% sodium chloride aqueous solution and organic phase is evaporated to dryness and dissolved in ethanol. Dense precipitate is extracted with ethanol at ratio raw : ethanol = 1:1 for 18 hr at 18-20 C followed by centrifugation. Extracts were combined, kept for 48 hr at -10 C, filtered and after alcohol distillation the yield of the end product is 72%. EFFECT: improved method of preparing. 1 tbl
