FIELD: alcoholic industry. SUBSTANCE: milled girasol (apple earth, Helianthus tuberosus) is mixed with diluted sulfuric acid to hydrolyze mass, then heated to 75-85 C, homogenized for 3-4 hr, kept at 75-85 C for 3-4 hr. After keeping 10-12% wort is taken off for yeast preparing and necessary mineral salts (carbamide, diammonium phosphate) were added. Other wort flow is cooled to 22-24 C and fed for fermentation. EFFECT: improved method of ethanol production.
