FIELD: combustion chambers for gas-turbine engines and gas generators. SUBSTANCE: desired flow of combustible gas is admitted in small jets distributed within combustion chamber sectional area. Gas feed rate is always higher than air inflow speed and correlation between these speeds is set depending on degree of gas heating determined by air excess coefficient Φ. Desired combustible gas flow is determined by relationship between gas feed rate and inflow air speed m, diameter of jets at which reliable flame transfer between separate diffusion torches should be ensured.
