FIELD: engine engineering. SUBSTANCE: engine has major combustion chamber 1 with working cylinder 2, piston 3, and ignition chamber 4 arranged symmetrically to the axis of cylinder 2, provided with ignition device 4 with ring spark space 6, and connected with the major ignition chamber through nozzles of two types made up as gas dynamic detectors. Central nozzle 7 is made up as a converging passageway and has smooth inlet from the side of major combustion chamber 1 and cylinder 2 and abrupt outlet with sharp edges from the side of ignition chamber 4. Periphery nozzles 8 are also made up as converging passageways, but have smooth inlets from the side of ignition chamber 4 and abrupt outlets with sharp edges from the side of major combustion chamber 1. The axes of periphery nozzles 8 of ignition chamber 4 are tangent to the conventional circumference of the center of mass of the fuel-air charge for a given volume of major combustion chamber 1.
