FIELD: engine engineering. SUBSTANCE: internal combustion engine has major combustion chamber 1 with working cylinder 2, piston 3, ignition chamber 4 arranged symmetrically with respect to the axis of cylinder 2, provided with ignition device 5 with ring spark plug space 6. and connected with major combustion chamber 1 trough two sets of passageways provided in the bottom of the ignition chamber and its side cylindrical surface near the spark space. Central nozzle 7 is made up as a converging passageway having smooth inlet from the side of the cylinder and abrupt outlet with sharp edges from the side of ignition chamber 4. In addition the ignition chamber is provided with passageways 8 that connect major chamber 1 with the portion of the ignition chamber hear the ring spark space. The axes of openings 9 of passageway 8 at the inlet to ignition chamber 4 are tangent to its inner surface. The output nozzles of passageway 8 are converging and provided with sharp outlet edges. Periphery nozzles 11 in the bottom of ignition chamber 4 for producing igniting jets are also made up as converging passageways with smooth inlets from the side of ignition chambers 4 and abrupt outlets with sharp edges from the side of major combustion chamber 1. Axes 12 of periphery nozzles 11 are tangent to the conventional circumference of the center of mass of fuel- air charge for a given volume of major combustion chamber 1.
