FIELD: electrical engineering. SUBSTANCE: box has porcelain insulator filled with insulating liquid, cable termination carrying reenforcing insulation in the form of elastoplastic member mounted thereon with interference fit, top and bottom shields. Elastoplastic member electrode is held tight against bottom shield of box by means of hold-down sleeve having curvilinear inner surface profile according to formula P(x) = A+C(B-x)², where A = -2.22.10^-4-10^-2; C-54.50-72.10; B is wall thickness of elastoplastic member at point of transition from held-down part of elastoplastic member to its loose part; is present coordinate of hold-down sleeve inner surface generating line. Sealing ring made of multilayer elastoplastic, right triangle in sectional area, is mounted on hold-down sleeve bottom. Space between bottom shield and cable insulation has filler that may be made in the form of porous cylindrical elastoplastic tube having heat conductivity of 0.5-1.0 W/(Km) or in the form of polymeric paste layer having same heat conductivity.
