FIELD: separation of liquid and gaseous media. SUBSTANCE: apparatus has cylindrical housing and bundle of tubular diaphragm members some ends of which are secured in support tube plate and other (stopped) are fixed in distributing tube plate. It has also two end face covers with unions to deliver medium to be separated and let out permeate, and sealing members. Both tube plates are rigidly interconnected by support rod taking up loads acting on bundle of diaphragm members when assembling (disassembling) the apparatus and reconditioning the diaphragm members outside apparatus. Diaphragm member bundle is easy to introduce and fix in housing which facilitates installation and removal of diaphragm members and decreases probability of damage to members proper and their places of attachment in tube plates and damage to selective layers. Provision of and special design of central and peripheral fairings and uniform spacing of channels delivering medium to be separated around each diaphragm member ensure optimum distribution of flow relative to all diaphragm members. Minimum number of sealing members and their arrangement in lock (slot) enhances tightness of chambers and spaces of apparatus. EFFECT: enhanced reliability, simplified design. 6 cl, 3 dwg
