FIELD: separating liquids and gases. SUBSTANCE: diaphragm apparatus has housing separated with corrugated separating baffles arranged along the direction of fluid medium flow to be separated and parallel to each other to define spaces wherein piping diaphragm members are housed. The spaces are in communication through dispensing grates having grooves with diverging and converging pipes mounted on the housing. The width of the grooves increase from the center to periphery of the plate. The axis of the diaphragm members are perpendicular to the direction of the flow to be separated and are checkered.
