FIELD: chemical engineering. SUBSTANCE: membrane apparatus for gas and liquid separation has casing, membrane members, each consisting of frame, support, and semipermeable membrane, and spacers disposed between membrane members. Apparatus is provided with flared ends for feeding and discharging medium being separated, a pipeline for removing permeate and collector connected to the latter. Membrane members are installed parallel to stream of medium being separated and each is made in the form of module comprising two membranes, which are tightly joined over perimeter to form a closed shell embracing hollow for discharging permeate. The shell encloses a frame consisting of rigidly joined slates, support bars fixed in the slates, and supports disposed on support bars. One of slates has a system of channels on it, which are connected to permeate discharge hollow from one side and to collector-coupled pipeline from the other side. EFFECT: improved structure. 3 dwg
