SUBSTANCE: device has melting and production chambers, heating members, glass grain charging unit and die feeder. Melting and production chambers are made of ceramics and divided in gas zone by ceramic partition. Chambers are connected in glass mass zone to set ratio of height of glass mass level in melting chamber to height of level of glass mass in production chamber within 0.05 and 0.23 at ratio of area of glass mass mirror in melting chamber to area of glass mass mirror in production chamber within 0.5 and 4.0, thus providing melting of glass grains delivered into melting chamber in thin layer and maintaining temperature conditions and hydrostatic head of glass mass in production chamber required for stabilized process of glass fiber formation.
