SUBSTANCE: mixture of carboxylic acids with 6-18 carbon atoms reacts with phosphorus trichloride at 120-150 C and hydrolysis of obtained reaction mass is carried out at 80-110 C. Phosphorous acid is added additionally as initial reagent. Mole ratio of phosphorous acid, phosphorus trichloride and carboxylic acids mixture is from 1.0:0.5:1.0 to 1.3:0.8:1.0. Phosphorous acid obtained by hydrolysis of phosphorus trichloride with hydrochloric acid or hydrolysis of vat residue in dimethylphosphite production is used.
