FIELD: boiler engineering. SUBSTANCE: device has heat-insulated gas- discharge pipe connection joined to furnace porthole through fastening flange and cooling agent supply piping. Fastening flange is truncated cone structure arranged around furnace porthole in a spaced relation to it. Gas-discharge pipe connection is made of heat-resistant steel; its head insulation is placed on its outer surface; cooling agent supply piping communicates with clearance between porthole and fastening flange walls. Heat-resistant steel for gas-discharge pipe connection is selected with scaling initial point not lower than 1050 C, such as steel 20X23H13. Heat insulation is made of fibrous material having heat-transfer coefficient of 0.081-0.17 W/sq.m K and specific gravity in compressed state, 80-205 kg/cu. m. At least two cooling agent supply pipings arranged on diametrically opposite sides communicate with clearance between porthole and fastening flange walls. EFFECT: improved design. 2 dwg
