FIELD: production of alumina. SUBSTANCE: plant includes charging device of raw aluminum hydroxide connected with heat exchanger for drying and partial dehydration of raw aluminum hydroxide in suspended state; furnace with air chamber for calcination of raw aluminum hydroxide in circulating fluidized layer; cooler for cooling alumina with air accommodating tubular heat exchangers with inlets and outlets; blowing devices; cyclones and interconnecting pipelines. Each heat exchanger of cooler is connected by inlet with blowing device. Outlets of one heat exchangers are interconnected with each other and with furnace air chamber. The plant also includes additional heat exchanger with additional charging device of raw aluminum hydroxide and additional blowing device with pressure branch pipe connected by pipeline with outlet of at least other tubular heat exchanger and with additional heat exchanger.
