FIELD: production of gas envelope containing 1/1000 to 1/10 volume percent of nitric oxide, 0 to 90 volume percent of helium, 0 to 5 volume percent of hydrogen, 0 to 50 volume percent of carbon dioxide, and argon - the rest. SUBSTANCE: the method of production of gas envelope is featured by dissolution of nitrogen monoxide in condensed argon of 0.001 to 0.1 volume percent concentration in terms of the gas phase, evaporation of the obtained solution and adulteration of other components to the evaporated solution in such quantities so as to obtain a gas envelope of the preset composition. The gas mixture used for production of gas envelope is featured by the fact that it contains 0.001 to 0.1 volume percent of nitrogen monoxide in condensed argon in terms of the gas phase, and preferably is under excess pressure. EFFECT: facilitated procedure. 6 cl, 1 dwg
