FIELD: production of consumer gas. SUBSTANCE: method provides for dissolving of bad smelting odorant in solvent in vessel operating under pressure to produce liquid phase consisting of solution of bad smelting odorant in condensed gas and gas phase. Then, liquid phase is evaporated from vessel. Produced vapor phase is mixed with consumer gas. Bed smelting odorant is used in form of sulfur-organic compound or mixture of two or more sulfur-organic compounds taken from group including tetrahydrothiophene C₁-C₄, alkyl mecraptan, dimethyl or diethyl sulfide, methyl ethyl sulfide.
