FIELD: transport engineering. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to method and device for filling gas into flexible reservoir installed on vehicle when vehicle is subjected to hard braking. Gas filled reservoir plays the part of cushion absorbing force arising at braking and protecting the user from traumas. Reservoir is filled by means of first filling device 3,4 partially filling the bottle at first stage. Device 11, 12 determines parameter characterizing size of reservoir, and second device 10 continues filling reservoir during the second stage of filling if parameter meet preset conditions.
