GRAIN HOPPER DISCHARGING DEVICE Russian patent published in 1996 - IPC

FIELD: agricultural engineering; devices to provide discharging, locking and control over intensity of discharging of grain mixtures from hopper. SUBSTANCE: device has flexible hose secured in lower portion of hopper and mechanism to control travel of hose free end. Grain mixture flows out from hopper by gravity along flexible hose which does not change its cross-section at bending and gets into receiver. Intensity of grain flow depends on position of hose free end and changes from maximum value (when hose is arranged vertically) to zero value (where no grain discharge is provided). Intensity of grain flowing and locking is changed owing to change in value of intergrain friction forces in grain flow. EFFECT: enlarged operating capabilities. 1 dwg
